Enjoy the spooky side of opera in scenes from Carmen, Faust, and Hansel and Gretel paired with the spine-tingling chamber opera The Medium by one of America's favorite composers, Gian-Carlo Menotti.

During a seance, Madame Flora, a fake medium, feels a cold hand clutching her throat! Is it real or imagined? A psychological thriller unfolds as The Medium attempts to separate reality from the haunting of her mind.

Back by popular demand, SRC presents Menotti's classic Christmas opera Amahl and the Night Visitors! There's a boy, a wondrous star, three mysterious visitors and the temptation of gold...as the story unfolds we experience the Christmas story before the Wise Men reach the manger. Whom do they meet? A crippled boy named Amah! and his devoted Mother who will do anything to secure her son's future. Lessons are learned...and miracles really do happen!

This production will be staged in the beautiful sanctuary of Fernwood Baptist Church. Musical direction by Marc Burcham.

In the little village of Anatevka, Tevye, a poor dairyman, tries to instill in his five daughters the traditions of his tight-knit Jewish community in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia.

Rich in historical and ethnic detail, "Fiddler On The Roof" has touched audiences around the world with its humor, warmth and honesty. Its universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.

The celebrated score by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Hamick features songs loved the world over. "Fiddler On The Roof" is simply Broadway at its very best

Dear Patrons,
In order to facilitate acquiring tickets for our wonderful season, we will now be selling tickets in advance from the Twichell Box Office at Converse College. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Please call (864)596-9725. Major credit cards accepted.

On show days, tickets will be available at the David Reid Box Office from 7-8 p.m. and 2-3 p.m. on Sundays. Prepaid season ticket holders may pick up their tickets at Twichell during the week of each show, or at at David Reid Box Office.
